This is from memory, but I think the Tein camber plate with factory upper spring seat decreases travel a small amount. You gain some of that back when you go to the smaller 2.5″ spring seat. Again, that’s from memory, so I don’t recall for certain. The tein bushing works perfectly with the koni struts.

Be aware that you will not be able to use 100% of the camber plate adjustment, since the large factory spring seat will bind against the chassis of the car when you turn.

Also, do the inside diameter of the Tein bushings match the outside diameter of the Koni strut rod?

I am going to do a Koni yellow/RS*R race spring setup. The Tein and Cusco mounts seem to be the only ones I can find short of the HKS that can be used with a spring/shock combo. So you have found that the Tein mounts increased travel? I had read that they decreased the travel…..

Yes, they will work. You will only need a small spacer (similar to the one that I mentioned) and a large washer to go between the upper spring hat and the camber plate.

Will the T3 plates work with a Koni/Ground control setup. My Koni strut rods were thicker than the OE strut rod

If your son likes the trip, might I suggest the VIR Gold Cup. It is an absolutely spectacular event and the people are so friendly it really makes it special. I have been for the last two years, and each year more than one driver has asked if my kids would like to get in their car for a picture. Needless to say, the kids then cheer on that driver with all their hearts for the rest of the event.

I don’t know where you can pick up a LS1 for $2000 but you need to let me know the source. All the places that I’ve call want $3000+. I’ve email SIKKY and they will be testing this kit on a S13 in the next 2 weeks. I’m very interested in this swap as well.
